Death can happen within minutes if the patient is not provided with treatment.
  • Heart Attack: A heart attack, on the other side occurs when there occurs a blockage in the heart. The blockage needs to be treated on time otherwise can cause serious damage to the heart muscle. There is lack of oxygen and dramatic intervention in blood circulation.

Other causes, if a cardiac arrest include excessive alcohol consumption, pacemaker dysfunction, ventricular tachycardia, drug abuse, hypothermia and respiratory interference.
  • Heart Attack: A heart attack is mainly caused by the existence of coronary heart disease (CHD). A state of CHD further leads to the development of a heart attack. In Coronary heart disease, there is fat deposition in the arteries which supply oxygenated blood to heart. This blockage creates deterioration of the normal functioning of the heart.
Coronary Heart disease is mainly caused by the following:
